1. Accepted Methods of Payment
For your convenience and security, we accept the following payment methods through our integrated online booking system:
- Credit and Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
- Digital Wallets: PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay (where available).
- Bank Transfers: Available primarily for B2B partners, corporate accounts, and long-term bookings.
2. Secure Encryption (SSL Technology)
Our website, www.amanjourney.com, is equipped with an SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificate. This ensures that all data transmitted between your browser and our server is encrypted and protected from interception by third parties. You can verify this by the “lock” icon in your browser’s address bar.
3. PCI-DSS Compliance & Data Handling
- No Data Storage: Aman Journey does not store your credit card numbers, CVV codes, or expiry dates on our internal servers.
- Third-Party Processing: All financial transactions are processed directly through world-class, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways (such as Stripe or PayPal). These providers adhere to the strictest security standards in the global payments industry.
- Tokenization: We use tokenization technology, meaning your sensitive card details are replaced with a unique identifier (token) during the transaction process, ensuring your actual card data is never exposed.
4. 3D Secure Authentication
To prevent unauthorized use of your cards, our system supports 3D Secure technology (Verified by Visa / MasterCard ID Check). During the payment process, you may be redirected to your bank’s secure page to enter a one-time password (OTP) or authorize the transaction via your banking app.
5. Currencies and Exchange Rates
- Base Currencies: Payments are primarily processed in Moroccan Dirhams (MAD) or Euros (EUR).
- Conversion: If your card is issued in a different currency, the final amount will be converted by your bank at their prevailing exchange rate. Aman Journey is not responsible for any foreign transaction fees or currency conversion spreads charged by your financial institution.
6. Fraud Prevention
To protect both our customers and our business, Aman Journey monitors transactions for suspicious activity. We reserve the right to:
- Request a copy of a valid ID or the credit card used (with sensitive numbers masked) for verification upon pickup.
- Cancel any booking that fails our security and fraud screening checks.
7. Digital Invoicing
Upon successful payment, an automated Digital Invoice will be sent to your registered email address. This invoice serves as your proof of payment and contains all relevant details of your booking for your records or corporate accounting.
8. Your Responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring that the payment information provided is accurate and that you are the authorized holder of the credit card or account used for the booking.
